Troubles at the Ace Hotel

So there's this new wants-to-be-trendy hotel called The Ace that is opening in my neighborhood on a dicey block that could use an injection of gentry. Woo hoo.

Then we learn that the building being converted is an SRO with many existing tenants who have been or will be displaced.

Uh oh.

Expect complications and fireworks.
