Civil War Deflation

Sure, we all know some southerners twist themselves into knots about The War Between the States and how it was about more than slavery etc. And at this point in history it's pretty well-known that a lot of the union troops weren't exactly Politically Correct when it came to racial issues, but this nonsense that the Civil War wasn't primarily about the question of slavery is idiotic.
